Celtic return confirmed amid collapse under Wilfried Nancy

A Celtic return has been officially announced amid the club's collapse under the management of Wilfried Nancy.

Celtic's decline into mediocrity continued this weekend with the club losing at home against the Rangers in the first Glasgow Derby of the year. A solid first-half display was undone after the break as Wilfried Nancy's side ended up losing 3-1. One has to question whether those on the board are more concerned about being proven right about their decision to bring in Nancy than to look after the best interests of the club. For most, this has become an untenable situation. But seemingly not for those with the ability to make a decision.

Celtic return confirmed amid collapse under Wilfried Nancy

As announced by Partick Thistle's official website, Sean McArdle has been recalled early from his loan spell by Celtic. He had made the temporary switch to Maryhill at the start of October and made six appearances for the club.

It is hard to imagine that Celtic would be calling back McArdle to be a part of the first-team picture, even though he has made a couple of senior appearances for the Hoops. It is a lot more likely that he will be sent out on loan to a different club, as he had not been getting a ton of chances at Partick Thistle.

At the end of the day, it does not do anything to improve the current situation at Celtic. And that is our biggest concern at the moment. That's all.
